Benjamin Braddock is a symbol
of confused youth whose universally befuddled qualities have transcended
generations. Brought to life by a young Dustin Hoffman, the character is
a recent college graduate at the crossroads of his life, who is eventually
seduced by his parents friend, Mrs. Robinson (Anne Bancroft). Before
you know it, the young man is having a relationship with both the mother
and her daughter, Elaine Robinson (Katharine Ross). This landmark 60s
movie features innovative direction by Oscar-winner Mike Nichols and a stunning
musical soundtrack from Simon and Garfunkel. |
